This project tries to develop an infrastructure capable of the enhancement of LLL programs within the academic community by means of sharing experiences of best practice. It is classified as a structural measure project in the category of university management and will significantly contribute to the successful implementation of the Bologna process into Croatian universities and will enhance the development of a new range of University activities aimed at the development of the LLL learning and continuous education programs across university.
Consortium members:
University of Zagreb (project co-ordinator), Danube University Krems (grant holder), University of Dundee, Helsinki University of Technology, Limerick Institute of Technology, University of Graz, University of Debrecen, University of Pecs, University of Split.
The specific objectives are:
- to learn from the Consortium members as the examples of best practice about the general strategy, organizational issues and development of programs as well as research in the area of LLL,
- to assess by means of university wide survey the scope of the LLL activities already in place,
- to develop a strategic document including the proposal of the institutional infrastructure needed for the support of the activities in the LLL domain.
Target groups:
The direct target group are university managers, and academic staff who have potential in providing LLL programs.
Indirect beneficiaries are senior and mature persons, also former students, who wish either to broaden their knowledge and skills or to upgrade their professional competences at academic level.
