On the invitation of the Korean elite university POSTECH University of Science, a counterpart of the American MIT, Prof. Dr. Oliver Grau opened the "Donguk Humanities Lecture Series" for Nobel prize winners and international top scientists by holding two lectures.

In October 2011 the Center for Image Science opened the Virtual Exhibition "The Baroque Thesis Print"

The Center for Image Science has developed a new virtual exhibition with works from the Goettweig Graphic Collection. For the first time, these rarely seen engravings are brought together virtually for the exhibition "The Baroque Thesis Print” from the comprehensive 30,000 print archive. The exhibition is currently available on www.gssg.at.
