ClassiX 2.0 – Classics in the digital present
Based on an analysis of the classical music audience and of digital business models the "3rd Austrian Mobile Music Day" will be sounding the contexts of technology, quality standards and aesthetics, as well as focus on innovative application possibilities for concert and opera companies. Latest developments of social web in all its different facets concerning classical music industry will also be discussed. The conference, as part of the symposia series „Austrian Mobile Music Days“, is hosted by the Center for Contemporary Music of the Danube-University Krems.

Vortrag Prof. Dr. Alistair Crawford, University of Wales

Alistair Crawford curated the photography-retrospective exhibition "Abbout Stopping time - Erich Lessing and his reportage photography" in 2002 for the Art History Museum in Vienna and wrote the book which has been published so far in three languages. In his lecture he will emphasize on specific aspects of such a big, difficult but fascinating exhibition-project and exlpain how it all came about.

Erich Lessing, reportage-photographer and member of the photography-collective Magnum, will probably be present at the lecture.

The lecture will be held in english.
