The ICEGOV 2010 Best Paper Awards were announced at the 4th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, Beijing, China, 25 - 28 October 2010. The winners were selected by the Awards Committee chaired by Christine Leitner, Head of Center for European Public Administration (CEPA), Danube University Krems.

First Call for Submissions open!

The ICEGOV2010 Program Committee invites submissions of unpublished, original work - completed or ongoing - in the form of papers, case studies, demonstrations and posters. Christine Leitner is member of the Awards Committee which selects the best submissions.

World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2010 - Christine Leitner participates in eGovernment track

In the framework of the WCIT 2010, Christine Leitner is thought leader in the internet debate on theme 6 'Without eTrust no eGovernment'. The objective of the discussion is to gain input for an eGovernment vision which will be offered to the WCIT community, the European Commission and the Dutch Ministry of the Interior.

European E-Government Awards 2009: Call still open until 10 June!

The deadline for the submission to the European eGovernment Awards 2009 is approaching. Outstanding practices on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in public sector organisations can be submitted until 10 June 2009 using the Good Practice Portal www.epractice.eu. Since 2007 the Center for European Public Administration (CEPA) at Danube University Krems is the lead contractor for the European eGovernment Awards.

The European Commission invites local and regional public sector organisations to submit their Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) cases to the European eGovernment Awards 2009. Submission for the prestigious Awards for eGovernment is open until 10 June. Since 2007 the European eGovernment Awards are headed by the Center for European Public Administration (CEPA), Danube University Krems, Austria.
