End User e-Skills Framework Requirements

The European Union has defined e-skills as an important requirement for inclusion in the Information Society within the framework of the Digital Agenda for Europe. In 2009 a project was initiated by the European standardisation organisation CEN to identify the need for a framework to describe such end user skills.

European eGovernment Awards
Project Management:  Dr. Christine Leitner

The European eGovernment Awards funded by the European Commission aim to select innovative practices on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the public sector. The Center for European Public Administration at Danube University Krems has been lead contractor for the renowned awards scheme since 2007. Christine Leitner is programme director of the Awards since their launch in 2003.
