Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Complementary Medicine

Compared to classical medicine complementary medicine tends to view the organism as a whole and in its context of psycho-social and climatic factors. Pathological reactions in diseases are seen as a balancing attempt of the organism to deeper causes, rather then just as symptoms.

Danube University acknowledges the increasing interest of patients towards complementary medicine with its advanced training courses for doctors and other medical professions.
In- depth scientific basis, practical training and interdisciplinary dialagoe between different branches of study are accentuated.
