Preparatory Modules "Business Basics"

MBA Krems - We mean business!
The preparatory module „Business Basics” prepares graduate students for the MBA Programs at the Danube University Krems. We offer classroom trainings and online trainings. The Business Basics are an integrative part of the first year of study.

The goal of this module is to teach the fundamental interrelations between and concepts of general business, economics, business math and statistics. This preparatory module may be required or recommended by the program director when deemed necessary.

General Management Administration

Educational Goal:
You`ll be placed in the role of a business manager where you can authentically experience how an enterprise functions and it is led.

Educational Goal:
Understanding the main economic questions and problems (micro- and macroeconomics)
Understanding economic methodology (marginal analysis, circular flow, modelling interdependencies)
Familiarity with the most important economic terms and concepts.

Educational Goal:
Goal of the seminar Basics in Management - Accounting is the understanding of the basis contents, functions and tasks of accounting based on the connections between the elements Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account.

cost classifications and the systems of job-order costing and process costing.
