Equality and Gender Studies
“Gender” is in many means of high relevance at universities: on the one hand in terms of gender specific research and teaching which are integral parts of a modern and innovative university; on the other hand in terms of gender specific measures for organizational and personal development which can sustainable improve equality and workplace quality at universities.

According to the University Act 2002, every university in Austria is required to establish a "Unit to coordinate the functions of equality of women and gender research".

 

The Coordination Office for the Promotion of Women and Gender Studies is a service unit for employees, lecturers, students and alumni of the Danube University. Our aim is to strengthen the gender perspective at the Danube University in terms of research, teaching and organizational issues.

 

The Office is open every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday all day from 9:00 and Tuesday from 14:00.
Consulting hours: Thursday 10:00 to 13:00 (by appointment).
