Esthetic Face Surgery

Master of Science (MSc)

Esthetic face surgery is currently conducted by three disciplines: Plastic and reconstructive surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and otolaryngology (head and neck surgery). The underlying curriculum of the university course “Esthetic Face Surgery” is mainly function based (“esthetics follows function”) and will serve as a basis to scientifically objectify all esthetic-surgical treatment. The university course will train specialists in the above mentioned disciplines and meditate a science-based, surgical practice-oriented curriculum. The stated aim of the university course is to contribute to the basis of scientific and practical principles for professional and personal development of the participants.

Danube University Krems postpones for strategic reasons the start of master Programmes in the field of aestetic medicine up to and including summer term 2013.

Target group	The university course is aimed at individuals who have completed residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and are interested in surgical-scientific training in "Face Esthetic Surgery”.
