Greenhouse gas management in the best possible way for a sustainable business success!
The European Emissions Trading Scheme is the first international trading system for CO2 emissions in the world. It covers around 12,000 energy-intensive installations across the EU, which represent close to half of Europe’s emissions of CO2.
The affected companies in Europe are being challenged to create an effective, fiscally responsible, and sustainable response. Competitive pressure, consumer interest, regulated markets, energy costs and future risk make greenhouse gas management a board-level issue. The program „Certified Energy and Carbon Manager“ enables to respond to this challenge!
The objectives of the program are to provide insights into the EU emissions trading scheme and its economic mechanisms as well as the knowledge of the foundations and operations of developing sustainable carbon strategies for the companies.
