The university course Public Relations distance learning PR PLUS Austria passes on specific knowledge and skills associated with communication, editorial work, conceptual design and management. This theory-based course is offered in a distance-learning format, parallel to employment and online. The main feature of the PR PLUS Austria distance learning is five practical workshops in which public relations tools are put to use.

Students receive a total of 18 course books, the contents of which are to be worked through at home. Students are able to organise their studies according to their specific needs thanks to interactive studying opportunities and individual learning. The key focal areas of this course include the fundamentals of PR and communication, together with important related disciplines, expertise in communication production, communication planning techniques and communicative behaviour competencies. In conjunction with the course accredited by the PRVA (Austrian Public Relations Association), a Master of Science (MSc) can be attained by completing a two-semester Communications upgrade.
