Projects, Products and the (economically feasible and culturally sustainable) Management of Web-based Interactive Media scenarios represent this programme's main focus. It is executed in Blended Learning-mode, which means as a combination of individually timeable online learning units and module-specific attendance days (within four semesters a total of 14 consecutive Fridays and Saturdays plus 2-3 half-days for Project presentations and presentation resp. defensio of Master Thesis).
Creative as well as ICT-contents mark the combination of application-oriented skills and scientifically substantiated reflecting power concerning current developments of participatory and reciprocal Web[2.0]-Media.
Course-subjects oscillate between creative (like “Multimedia-“ or “User Centered Design”), IC-technological (f.e. “Principles of Application Development”, “Advanced Information and Communication Technologies”), context-oriented introductory “Business Studies” or research questions from the fields of Social Sciences resp. the Humanities (cf. “Digital Media and Society“ or „Philosophy of Science“).
The participation in this programme enables students to deploy professional skills for jobs as Web Designer / -Developer, Multimedia Producer or Project- resp. Product Manager, (Web-)Portal Manager, Internet Technology Consultant, (Online) Art Director or generalists in Media Management.

Employees from Web-/(Multi)Media-/Full Service-(advertising) agencies resp. ISP's. Applicants generally must have obtained graduate resp. undergraduate studies within one of the relevant scientific disciplines (f.e. from the fields of "Engineering & Technology", "Natural Sciences" or "Applied Sciences", but also final degrees from "Business & Economics", "Humanities & Art" or "Social Sciences" could be considered for application). Exceptions to this rule could be made if applicants are aged twenty-four at least and hold approx. four years of relevant professional and leadership experience. |
