Intercultural Trainings Design |
|
Every trainer and educator must consider not only what to teach, but also how to teach it: what methods to use, in what order, for what purpose. This seminar will consider these elements of training design, and the underlying theory that informs our
choices of how we construct our intercultural programs.
choices of how we construct our intercultural programs.
| Targets | For trainers and educators who want a conceptual rationale for program design, this course will examine the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity as a theoretical foundation for audience analysis, content sequencing, and process design. The course will review the framework, and suggest strategies for addressing ethnocentrism for a variety of professional contexts. |
