For quite some time the pharmaceutical industry feels the effects of a dramatic shift of their customers’ expectations. In addition, in many countries the health care system is subject to a radical change. In future innovative concepts that create added value will become the critical success factor for the pharmaceutical industry. Thus, adequate education and training of executives becomes more and more important.
What makes our master program unique?
• Eighteen courses in the 22-month program are delivered over the Web using state-of-the art learning technologies. So you can work on course activities from home, at work, or on the road. The remaining three courses are conducted as 5 day intensive learning experiences on the University campus.
• This dynamic, interactive program meets the experience levels of seasoned professionals and the needs of a busy professional.
• You'll learn from lectures delivered by senior pharmaceutical and healthcare executives and academic leaders, facilitated discussions, case analysis, student presentations, group projects, computer simulations, industry databases and guest speakers. You'll also be electronically linked to a living community of faculty and other students.
• The MBA Online program is intensive and demanding, consistent with a graduate professional program. Intensive preparation is expected and academic standards are carefully maintained to ensure the integrity of the earned degree.
• All of your coursework will center around a case study where you will create a hypothetical pharmaceutical company. Working in a team, you’ll examine, formulate and explain all aspects of how a pharmaceutical or health care services company does business. • Students will graduate with a European and an American Degree.
• Students can immediately apply learning to increase their job performance and hereby gain a relevant competitive advantage.
• Master theses are prepared in collaboration with the own pharmaceutical company.
A secured course management systems provides course materials, discussion forums and chat rooms for each course. You'll interact productively and efficiently, maintaining the group learning dynamic online and in classroom sessions.
