European Master in Stroke Medicine

This postgraduate program is sponsored and co-hosted by the European Stroke Organisation (ESO) and imparts specialised scientific as well as practical knowledge and a complete coverage of the field of cerebrovascular diseases. It was started in order to be able to cope with the increasing disease burden due to stroke, and to establish evidence-based knowledge standards of stroke diagnosis and therapy across Europe. Chairmen of this programme are Prof. Wolf-Dieter Heiss and Prof. Michael Brainin.
