Television/Film and its socio-cultural Significance


Today television and film are commonly regarded as the most popular and most important communication media worldwide, with the following three functions deserving special acknowledgement: Television/film as 1) leading medium for social and cultural development, 2) as unique manifestation of our cultural and artistic heritage, 3) as a future “killer application” within the digital broadband networks of the 21st century.

Target group - art studies graduates (film, visual arts, architecture, etc.)

- graduates from the humanities, cultural studies, economics, with a focus on audiovisual media

- people with long-term experience in the filmbusiness or corresponding qualifications
