Univ.-Prof. Dr. Monika Kil is Vice-Rector for Academic Teaching / Scientific Continuing Education at Danube University Krems. She was elected unanimously by the University Council on May 27, 2013. In 2013 she was appointed professor for Academic Continuing Education Research and Educational Management at Danube University Krems and she heads the Department “Academic Continuing Education Research and Educational Management”.
Kil was Department Head at the Research and Development Centre at the German Institute for Adult Education – Leibniz Centre for Lifelong Learning in Bonn where she conducted research in the sector adult learning and inclusion. She studied educational sciences and organisational psychology at Dortmund University and graduated on the subject academic continuing education research, she habilitated at the University of Bremen with the focus adult- / continuing education and educational research.
