Standard scholarship awarded for the "Literature, Management and Communication" study program
Winner is the Slovakian Germanist Katharina Heger
After interviewing the four leading applicants for participation in the new Department of Arts and Management's "Literature, Management and Communication" study program the standard-expert advisory council decided in favor of Katharina Heger a native of Slovakia.

Katharina Heger completed her German studies at the University of Bratislava and has been living in Vienna for a long time. The jury that awarded the scholarship, valued at 10,400 Euro, consisted of Helmut Kouba (Personnel Manager ISS Facility Services Austria), Andreas Berger (HR Manager RHI), Marlies Buxbaum (Management Consultant bzd), Herbert Kotzab (Professor at Copenhagen Business School) and Christine Grond (Danube University Krems).

The parallel to employment Master program "Literature, Management and Communication" starts for the first time in September 2008 and offers a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of the publication and distribution of literature. The study program is conceived as continuing education for employees in the cultural and publishing sector. It is also suitable as a supplement for graduates of academic literature studies who would like to qualify for employment in the literary profession. This is a five semester program.
