courses on music management, 16 July 2018

We are proud to inform you that the French-Czech Music Academy Telč will host Music Management Lectures on July 16, 2018 in cooperation with our Center focusing on European and International music industry structures, both legacy and currently evolving models.

Artists, especially active musicians, now face new demands and challenges. Industry knowledge and entrepreneurial awareness have become assets to all young talented artists. To increase one’s chances of success, musicians should aim to approach their art and skills holistically and internationally, whilst maintain their national cultures, roots and personal artistic uniqueness. Our aim is to help guide young artists to pursue their careers in the 21st. century by providing them with helpful information.

French-Czech Music Academy Telč

The French-Czech Music Academy Telč was founded in 1995 as a unique European music project, connecting Czech and French cultures. The Academy offers international master classes and is attended annually by more than fifty students. Since 2016 the Academy has expanded its program through the complementary project “21st Century Musician” to include comprehensive education for young artists.

This collaboration once again highlights the international focus at the Center for Applied Music Research at Danube University.
