Music Management graduates Saeedeh Ghazi und Philipp Haniger have recently founded the Saphira Culture OG, aiming at fostering communications between different cultures. Their emphasis on social focal points, include organizing concerts and offering music education programs such as workshops or lectures.

“Without my music management study program this project would probably have never come into existence”, says co-founder Philip Haninger.

With “Silent City” Saeedeh Ghazi und Philipp Haniger have successfully managed to bring renowned musicians to perform at Vienna’s Konzerthaus in June: the Iranian kamancheh player Kayhan Kalhor and the New York based string quartet, Brooklyn Rider, got acquainted when playing together in the Silkroad Ensemble, founded by Yo Yo Ma. In 2008 they recorded Kalhor‘s composition „Silent City“ and since then have performed together at concert halls and festivals around the world.
On 1 June 2018 they can be heard at Vienna’s Konzertahus (Mozartsaal).
