 At the invitation of mica - music information in cooperation with the Center for Applied Music Research of  Danube University Krems, US-American copyright expert Steven Masur will give insights into the application of blockhain technology in the music business on September 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Blockchains are cryptographically linked datasets, which, among other things, are suitable for contract drafting and the preservation of rights due to their highly secure nature. "Applications of the blockchain are becoming more and more important for the music business," says the head of the Center for Applied Music Research, Mag. Dr. Eva Maria Stöckler, which is why we are providing insight into the details and requirements of using this new technology at our master program "Music Management", and Steven Masur is an excellent specialist with a great deal of knowledge of the subject! "


The US lawyer Steven Masur has been working as a copyright specialist for quite some time dealing with the practice of this new technology in the music business. He is involved in the legal, economic and strategic advising of internationally established but also young and ambitious companies. His focus is on corporate finance, venture capital finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions.
