We invite individuals from academic and applied backgrounds as well as business, public authorities, NGO, NPOs and education institutions to submit their papers, reflections as well as workshop proposals. We welcome interdisciplinary approaches to the emerging conference topics.

 

• Research papers: 12 pages maximum / double-blind peer-reviewed;
• Case studies / Project papers: 12 pages maximum / double-blind peer-reviewed;
• Reflections: 6 pages maximum / selected by the chairs;
• Workshop papers: 4 pages maximum / selected by the chairs;
• PhD Colloquium papers: 3 pages maximum (excluding literature list) / selected by the organisers of the colloquium;

 

Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference.

Instructions for Authors

1. Submissions

  • Submissions must be made in English,
  • You can choose to submit a full paper, a workshop proposal, a reflection, or a paper for the PhD Colloquium;
  • Please use the appropriate template and limit the length of your submimssion accordingly.

 

2. Anonymity&Peer-Review

Full papers will be peer-reviewed.

To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this conference, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other. The paper submitted should not be included in the initial submission, and authors of the document shall delete their names from the text, with "Author" and year used in the references and footnotes, instead of the authors' name, article title, etc.

 

Reflections, workshop proposals and submissions to the PhD Colloquium are selected by the conference and track chairs.

 

3. Length

• Research papers: 12 pages maximum / double-blind peer-reviewed;
• Case studies / Project papers: 12 pages maximum / double-blind peer-reviewed;
• Reflections: 6 pages maximum / selected by the chairs;
• Workshop papers: 4 pages maximum / selected by the chairs;
• PhD Colloquium papers: 3 pages maximum (excluding literature list) / selected by the organisers of the colloquium;

 

4. Presentation

Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference. Authors will be informed of their presentation slot (date, time) when the conference programme is ready.

 

 

CeDEM14 Templates

 You can submit a full paper, a reflection, a workshop proposal or a paper to the PhD Colloquium.

 

There are 2 templates:

  • A template for full papers, reflections and papers for the PhD Colloquium;
  • A template for workshop proposals;

 

Please use the template according to the submission you would like to make!

Please note:

  • Use the formats in the template and instructions;
  • Write directly into the template;
  • If you copy&paste insert as "plain text";
  • Do not import large sections and lists from other documents;

Reflections, workshop proposals and submissions made to the PhD Colloquium are selected by the Conference Chairs and do not need to be submitted anonymously.

• Notification of acceptance: 7. February 2014
• Camera-ready paper submission: 28 February 2014
