At this meeting in Johannesburg, the next steps for the successful development of the project have been discussed under the leadership of the Center for Educational Management and Higher Education Development, together with the partner institutions (four European higher education institutions, three Mozambican higher education institutions, six South African higher education institutions and two ministries).
At the organisational level, the procurement of equipment for the African partners and the redesign of the project website have been dealt with. At the content level, the focus was on the next steps regarding three work packages, which are about the establishment of frameworks for dual study programmes, of knowledge alliances and of teaching and learning tools.
In the next months, the planning of training sessions by European partners at African institutions will be one main issue.
