Collaboration in a European Context
The cooperation between the University for Continuing Education Krems and Masaryk University encompasses numerous joint activities in teaching, research, and international exchange. A central framework for this collaboration is the current Erasmus+ agreement covering the period 2022–2029.
The long-standing partnership is also reflected in a range of cross-border, third-party funded projects aimed at supporting the development of the Czech–Austrian border region. These include interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary initiatives focused on the preservation and further development of cultural heritage sites, as well as joint activities related to international reconstruction and training projects that facilitate the transfer of academic expertise into concrete societal contexts.
