Today, the insurance sector has developed into a continuously growing trading sector throughout Europe. The private insurance industry has become one of the most important economic factors, providing many jobs and generating high turnover.

Due to its complexity and the particularities at national, European and international level, however, insurance law is increasingly proving to be an extremely complex legal matter. Dealing with insurance law issues in practice requires appropriate legal competence.

The following university courses - unique in Austria in this form - offer students in-depth, specialized and application-oriented know-how in insurance law in order to meet the increased demands of the insurance industry.
