Nurses are increasingly confronted with changing problems and thus new requirements. Technologisation and economisation and the desire for more human attention represent a major challenge for nursing care. This situation requires advanced and new qualifications. "Advanced Nursing Practice" provides nurses with the advisory, communicative and methodological competence that enables them to advise people in need of care, to assess the importance of complex practical situations for those involved, to initiate, support and reflect on the development of constructive ways of dealing with them, to convey research-led nursing knowledge in a target group-oriented manner, to offer suitable accompanying measures for change processes and to select and apply theory-led nursing knowledge in concrete nursing situations.
