The topic of digital transformation is dominating the future of the working world and our society. Qualified employees in organizations are often required to actively implement digitalization in addition to the specialized skills they have already acquired. In addition to managing digital transformation in a dynamic business environment, the economic, environmental and social aspects of sustainability must also be taken into account. In business and public administration, there is a growing need to train and retain existing specialists, as well as to enable organizations to recruit and retain new specialists.
Today's job market requires professionally trained people who understand these interrelations and are able to react flexibly. Current developments must be quickly identified through company analyses (internal) and environmental analyses (external). It is essential and unavoidable to accept the chances and challenges of digital transformation, to develop strategies based on these opportunities, and to manage and monitor their implementation within the company.
Target group
The continuing education study program "Digital Transformation, BSc (CE)" is designed for professionals with several years of work experience in business management, IT management, and the development and implementation of innovation in the digital environment. Students should already have basic knowledge and experience in their respective fields and want to expand their competencies in the area of digital leadership. This includes anyone involved in business management in the broadest sense, as well as IT professionals, human resource developers, and others who wish to engage with digital management and leadership concepts.
