This university course aims to provide advanced, method-specific continuing education in the field of child and youth psychiatry, building on previously acquired, specialized competencies in integrative therapy to qualify students for psychotherapeutic work with children, adolescents and their caregivers. Integrative child and youth psychotherapy revolves around modern development psychology concepts in the lifespan, social psychological and sociological and neurobiological recognitions, and has developed a broad spectrum of intervention strategies. The university course was certified by the Federal Ministry of Health and complies with the continuing and further education Guidelines for Psychotherapists of the Federal Ministry of Health, based on an evaluation from 02.12.2014 by the Psychotherapy Advisory Board.

This course is taught in German, therefore an excellent level of the German language is required.
