The university course teaches non-lawyers a broad range of legal skills. Students learn about public, private and European law, areas that are particularly important for daily practice, both in terms of content and methodology. They also learn precise dealings with national and international legal regulations, and how to apply them. The focus is not only on knowing the individual areas of law, but also on questions of efficient conflict resolution and law enforcement. In this respect, the course can be described as a "mini law course for the layman."
