The university course "Metabolic Healthcare" aims to impart basic and in-depth knowledge to apply preventive and therapeutic methods in the fields of health promotion, and to consider prevention from the view of complementary medicine. The focus is on the complex interrelationships of different health determinants and their interactions, in order to maintain and promote health, as well as to encourage complementary medicine settings for prevention.

Target group

Persons, who have completed a study course and graduated for a health occupation, or in nutritional science, or have completed a study course in another field with a professional qualification in a health occupation (at least Bachelor level). Additionally, persons professionally qualified in a health occupation and with professional experience, who meet the admission requirements (with university entrance qualification 2 years; without university entrance qualification 5 years of professional experience).
