The university course "Neurorehabilitation" imparts interdisciplinary knowledge from neurological specialties of the acute and rehabilitation phases as well as basic neurological knowledge. The focus is on clinical pictures and clinical syndromes, therapy concepts, therapeutic interventions, evaluation of the evidence of therapy methods in neurorehabilitation.
The participants are instructed to acquire knowledge independently, to apply new methods and to review their professional field of activity in a well-founded and critical way.
The students of the Neurorehabilitation course are taught the latest scientific findings, they deepen their abilities to plan, organize, instruct and advise, and to integrate these into their everyday work.
The course is aimed at physicians and therapists who work in the field of neurorehabilitation or are interested in acquiring sound knowledge for this professional field, which is growing rapidly due to demographic developments.
Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists or graduates of an equivalent professional training completed abroad in one of the above-mentioned fields with at least two years of professional experience in the treatment of predominantly neurological patients as well as graduates of a medical degree program.
