The university course "Neurorehabilitation Research MSc" offers a systematic scientific education for clinical research in direct connection with basic neurological knowledge and findings from special fields of neurological acute and rehabilitation phases.

In addition to current knowledge in the field of neurological and neuropsychological rehabilitation, the competencies necessary for planning, conducting and evaluating clinical studies are taught at an internationally required level of education. By integrating experts from clinical research and related scientific disciplines, combined with active learning methods, the participants of the university course will receive an education that is internationally demanded in the field of clinical research. The interdisciplinary orientation is intended to contribute to optimizing the interaction of different disciplines in a practice-oriented manner in clinical research.

The course is aimed at therapists and physicians who work in the field of neurorehabilitation and are interested in acquiring sound knowledge for this rapidly growing professional field due to demographic developments, as well as having the intention to work scientifically and to conduct active research.

Target group

Physiotherapists (physiotherapists), occupational therapists, speech therapists with at least two years of professional experience with predominantly neurological patients; graduates of a regular medical degree program; persons with a university degree or equivalent qualification with at least two years of professional experience with predominantly neurological patients
