Contract Law and Contract Design LL.M.

Master of Laws

Contracts are essential to human coexistence, and the foundation of every type of legal advice.

Contract design is therefore a legal and commercial competence required by everyone involved in legal counselling, especially as flawless contract design plays an essential role in avoiding costly legal disputes. Consequently, in addition to commercial law firms, large companies and corporate groups, medium-sized companies also have a considerable need for lawyers skilled in contract law. Nevertheless, contract design is hardly taught in basic legal courses.

This is addressed by the university course “Contract Law and Contract Design, LL.M.” It teaches contract design competencies at the highest academic level and its faculty includes Austria’s best practicing and academic contract law experts.
