The MediaAC joint master program answers the needs of the evolving fields related to the future and heritage of Media Arts Cultures. Our global digital world is filled with new media culture that encompasses the big questions of today such as the processes of globalisation, utopias of neuroscience, political repression and surveillance, big data, and the growing digital art world.

MediaAC addresses academic field as well as the demands of stakeholders from the Creative and Cultural Sector like creative industries, emergent digital businesses, future digital museums, galleries and archives.

Media Arts Cultures is an Erasmus Mundus joint master degree offered in cooperation by a consortium of four universities: Danube University Krems (Austria), Aalborg University (Denmark), University of Lodz (Poland), and City University Hong Kong (China).

Students are taught by the leading edge of international scholars and have the opportunity to study in at least three different universities. During an internship provided by international partners they will get insight into fields of practice. The unparalleled media arts environment of Europe and Asia will grow a new generation of professionals based on the future needs of the field and grounded in rigorous academic training.
Target group University graduates who wish to further their education and training to become future specialists and innovators in Media Arts Cultures and prepare themselves for emerging careers in the creative and cultural sectors, research and academia.
Admission requirements Applicants must hold as a first university degree at least a bachelor of 180 ECTS (or equivalent), have a sufficient command of English for academic purposes and show a strong motivation and interest to learn and work in the field Media Arts Cultures.
