About the person

Dr. Sarah Meyer is a post-doctoral research associate at the Department and head of the international research project REGIOPARL that studies the role of regional parliaments in Europe. She previously worked on EU affairs at the Austrian Federal Chancellery. Sarah Meyer received a doctorate from the University of Vienna and completed a post-graduate program on European integration at the Institute for Higher Studies in Vienna. She has worked in different research projects (among others FP7, FWF) at the University of Vienna, Innsbruck and Amsterdam. Teaching activities include the Austrian and EU political system, the EU future debate and Europeanization. Her research focus comprises the politicization of European integration, the role of regional parliaments in the EU and the EU future debate.
