Danube University Krems is committed in order to fulfil their social objectives to the wide anchoring of gender equality and gender. These topics are included in the University's strategic papers, such as the development plan and performance agreement with the Ministry of Science, as well as the University's statutes.
The "Office for Gender Equality and Gender Studies" is responsible for all the University’s employees, students, graduates and lecturers pertaining as central institution directly to the Rectorate. Its core goal is to strengthen the gender perspective in research, teaching and organisation at Danube University Krems and, being available as the contact person for all topics plus concerns dealing with gender justice, gender equality and equal opportunities.
