The tecnet Sciencepreneurship Education Program will continue in 2026. Through a series of workshops, the program aims to gradually introduce researchers, particularly PhD students and academic staff, to key topics in entrepreneurship, knowledge and technology transfer, and innovation management. The program is a voluntary and accessible opportunity for researchers and university members who are interested in exploring how to bring their research findings to practical application. Thanks to program funding, participation is free of charge.
The tecnet Sciencepreneurship Program is divided into three thematic modules:
- Impact-Driven Sciencepreneurship Mindset & Ideation
- From Idea to Implementation: Communication & Transfer Strategies
- IP Protection & Funding Strategy
Each thematic module comprises two workshops delivered by tecnet, with each workshop lasting a maximum of four hours. The program aims to provide an accessible introduction to Sciencepreneurship and equip participants with the necessary soft skills.

The workshops are interactive and include peer-learning elements, which is why a minimum of six participants is required. Participants can come from a range of academic disciplines, as interdisciplinarity is an important factor in developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
The activities offered as part of the program are provided through r2v next. The r2v next program is funded by the IBW/ERDF & JTF program, so participation is free of charge.
