Main Fields of Research
The Research Service supports University for Continuing Education Krems’ employees and students when developing and applying research projects.
The Grant Acquisition team supports the planning, development and writing of proposals and helps researchers at the University for Continuing Education Krems to prepare for complex applications and research projects efficiently and in the long term.

As a public research library, the library and University Archives of the University for Continuing Education Krems are open to students and graduates of our university and the general public alike.
The PhD programs at the University for Continuing Education Krems are complementing the scientific excellence in research. The students – approximately five per year in each of the two programs – take part in third-party funded research projects, on the basis of which they are employed while at the same time participating in cutting edge research. The PhD programs are characterized by intensive guidance in a structured but flexible project-oriented research scheme, where Summer Schools and scientific colloquia are the locus for reflection and mentoring.
Universities and high schools in Vienna, Lower Austria and Upper Austria have united to form a network – the "Dual Career Service of Vienna – Lower Austria – Upper Austria" - that offers support for newly appointed professors and their partners in their new job and living situation.
