In order to turn an extraordinary idea into a convincing project proposal, it takes time to develop ideas, select a suitable funding instrument, set up a consortium, draft the individual parts of the proposal, and coordinate the entire workflow.

The Grant Acquisition team supports researchers in this process and helps to efficiently prepare and coordinate complex applications with large funding volumes.

We focus on

• the Horizon Europe program
• joint projects and excellence programs of the Austrian Science Fund FWF (e.g. special research areas, research groups, international programs, doctoral colleges, future colleges, ESPRIT)
• funding from Christian Doppler Research Association (CD Laboratories)

We inform researchers about current research policy developments in Austria and the EU. Moreover, we brief them on synergies between national funding instruments and the Horizon Europe program.

We find the right funding instrument and advise on the application guidelines and beyond. In this manner, we help the researchers of the University of Krems to reach their scientific goals.
