Corporate and company law, in their national, European and international dimensions, form the cornerstones of business law. The department conducts fundamental research on key statutory frameworks, in particular the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and the Limited Liability Companies Act (GmbHG), while also addressing related areas of law such as banking and capital markets law on the one hand and consumer protection law on the other, as well as the interrelations between these fields (for example, investor protection law).
