We warmly congratulate our MARIHE (Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education) graduate, Zoe Maldonado Velez, on receiving the Ulrich-Teichler-Prize. She was awarded the prize at the annual conference of the Society for Higher Education Research for her master’s thesis entitled “Exploring Higher Education Observatories in a Data-Driven Context.”
Out of 18 submitted works, two doctoral dissertations and one master’s thesis were selected by a six-member jury.
The Ulrich-Teichler-Prize has been awarded since 2008. It was established by the Kassel-based higher education researcher Professor Dr. Ulrich Teichler (INCHER Kassel) to encourage early-career researchers to engage academically with issues in higher education research. At the same time, the prize aims to bring outstanding qualification theses in this field to greater public attention.
