Murray Kennedy is a quantitative researcher at the Department for Migration and Globalisation and contributes to the PATHWAYS project (Development implications of involuntary immobility in Africa).

About the person

He has a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology and has held research assistant positions on diverse projects in social and political science. Most recently, Murray worked as a quantitative research consultant investigating socio-psychological drivers of political extremism across Europe for the OppAttune Project.

His research interests include:

  • Advanced quantitative methods for social science and migration research
  • Political economy of migration
  • Migration aspirations, capabilities and decision-making processes
