The Office for IT-Security is the central coordination unit for information security at the University for Continuing Education Krems.
It was established to meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Plan, the cyber protection program for Austrian universities, under the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Women, Science, and Research, and is intended to ensure the protection of the entire IT infrastructure and strengthen resilience against cyber attacks.
By 2027, public Austrian universities will implement a joint project to strengthen their IT security.
