Description
Though new media shapes our daily lives and supports processes and communication, it can also constitute new risks. Especially young members of our society are drawn to the newest technologies. In order to preemptively protect children and youth from the risks associated with the use of digital media “innocence in danger “ has developed a number of prevention programs. The “Smart-user project” is based on a peer-to-peer approach. Adolescents educate each other by providing each other with information about sexual violence in the digital media. Protection and education are top priority. This research study evaluates the effects of this prevention program.
