European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA) Leitlinien Entwicklung

The European Society of Anesthesiology (ESA) requires support in revising their guidelines on the “Preoperative evaluation of the adult patient undergoing non-cardiac surgery”. These should be compatible with international standards and follow the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation) approach. The Department for Evidence-based Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the Danube University Krems will support this process by providing methodological expertise in gathering, summarizing, and presenting the available evidence according to the GRADE approach. The following section presents three proposals with different degrees of support.
