Promotion of the participation in clld (community led local development) processes

GoCLLD supports volunteers in regional development A project team with partners from Germany, Poland, Romania, Austria and the Netherlands has started a new project: GoCLLD. CLLD is short for ‘Community Led Local Development’. The CLLD method helps local people and organisations to promote an integral and sustainable development of their region. Local people are not only involved in regional development, they take the lead. In nearly 30 years, this method has proven to be an effective and efficient tool in rural areas. It is known as the ‘Leader approach’ in the European rural development programs. At the moment, about 2700 Leader regions across Europe are implementing this CLLD method.
