Description
The aim of the project is to develop a common model for rural village planning in the framework of the current call for proposals of the Interreg Programme for the Danube Region. of the Interreg Programme for the Danube Region, specifically targeting "SO 4.2 Increased institutional capacities for territorial and macroregional governance”. The objective is to create a shared good practice model for rural town planning that can serve as a basis for national-level public policies in Danube-bordering countries where policies helping heritage-based rural planning are not currently in place. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for the enhancement of existing practices where regulations are already mandatory. The goal is to bring expertise in architecture, town planning, and heritage preservation to rural micro-regions, where there is potential for heritage-based, landscape-integrated, and climate-conscious construction. This initiative aims to boost regional attractiveness through unified development of the urban landscape, especially in areas lacking the necessary architectural and technical competencies.
