Description
The AISHA proposal directly implements the core objective of the call for proposals, which is to establish a central AI Skills Academy focusing on generative AI and advanced AI skills. AISHA's concept is based on the two priority areas of the call for proposals: skills for the introduction and application of GenAI in strategic sectors, and fundamentals for skills related to AI factories. The three pillars of AISHA — knowledge, education and training; ecosystem development; and progress measurement — reflect the structure and priorities of the call for proposals and ensure full coverage of the required scope, results and binding targets. The project assigns specific work packages to the measures required by the call for proposals: development and implementation of curricula, vocational and practical training, pilot projects for training programmes, scholarship and return programmes for women, partnerships in the ecosystem, integration of a landing page into the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform (DSJP), KPI-based evaluation and a sustainability plan. AISHA is expressly committed to coordinated implementation with the upcoming ‘AI Factories’ initiative and to alignment with the Commission's AI Office and the ‘Apply AI Strategy’.
