Description

MAG-NET is a design-measure project that prepares a future joint Executive Master in Migration Governance and Politics (120 ECTS), built to strengthen Europe’s capacity for evidence-informed, joined-up migration governance. It addresses a persistent structural challenge: policy responsibilities and expertise are dispersed across sectors and governance levels, while research insights too rarely translate into operational decisions, implementation and evaluation. The consortium will co-design a coherent programme architecture and competence framework, translate these into shared learning outcomes, and prototype practice-embedded pedagogy (e.g., policy labs, case work, practitioner engagement and blended delivery). In parallel, MAG-NET will deliver a feasibility, quality and sustainability package aligned with Erasmus Mundus expectations, including core governance elements for a later joint-programme launch. The result is a robust, scalable blueprint for an executive programme that connects academic rigour with real-world policy performance.
