Description
Values and preferences regarding health outcomes are essential for evidence informed decision making and are increasingly emphasized in frameworks such as GRADE and WHO Evidence to Decision criteria. However, methods for synthesizing such evidence—whether quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods—remain heterogeneous, insufficiently described, and poorly mapped. We will conduct a scoping review to identify and characterize evidence syntheses published since 2021 that report on the synthesis of values and preferences related to health outcomes. Specifically, we seek to map methodological approaches, describe reporting practices, and identify challenges, limitations, and gaps to inform future methodological guidance.
